As a group we discussed TRANSDISCIPLINARITY and talked about a few of the sites from the URL http://userwww.sfsu.edu/~infoarts/links/wilson.artlinks2.html.
We also looked at Christa Sommerer & Laurent Mignonneau and their work with interactive media. Their work has been called "epoch-making" (Toshiharu Itoh, NTT-ICC Museum, Tokyo) for developing natural and intuitive interfaces and for applying scientific principles such as artificial life, complexity, generative systems and nanotechnologies to their innovative interface design.
Roy Ascott “The construction of change” was also highlighted. At first glance he seems to explore and discuss how technological advancements and artificial intelligence, as well as interativity "New Media" in our society effect the creation of art.
